About Us

Founded in 1862, Children's Service Center is one of the oldest and most respected facilities of its kind in all of Northeastern Pennsylvania. It provides diagnosis, counseling and treatment for children and adolescents with emotional disturbance, severe and persistent mental illness, and pervasive development disorders, including autism.

Today, with nearly 500 staff and serving over 3500 children each year, our mission continues to serve children, families and our community.
